Providence Anesthesiology Associates, has completed 1135 Same Day Total Joints at free-standing ambulatory surgery centers in 2021. These 1135 same-day total joints have been performed at Matthews Surgery Center (shared venture with Novant Health and OrthoCarolina), Mallard Creek Surgery Center in Northeast Charlotte (OrthoCarolina), Edgewater Surgery Center in Indian Land, SC (shared venture with MUSC, individual physicians, and OrthoCarolina) and Kimel Park Surgery Center in Winston Salem, NC (OrthoCarolina and Carolinas Pain Institute Shared Venture). Combined, these facilities house 9 ORs and 7 procedure rooms.
